Do you think Molly Burke would still be an inspirational speaker if she hadn't been bullied?
I don't think Molly would have been an inspirational speaker if she hadn't been bullied, because then she wouldn't have had the same experience as she did. If Molly didn't have the same experience then she wouldn't have had a way to connect to the people about bullying, and she wouldn't have had as much of a reason to be against it as she does now.
Why would Molly's friends turn on her and eventually bully her?
I think that Molly's friends turned on her because they wanted to fit in with the rest of the group of "cool people" and those people thought that Molly was faking, and that it was uncool to be around her, or even help her, and to fit in they had to turn on their once best friend.
Would Molly have been bullied if she had acted more blind?
I don't think she would have been bullied has bad because one of the reasons that she was bullied was because she didn't act blind even though she was. It also could go another way and she could be bullied just has bad because she is different, since she is blind, and some people don't know how to accept t

"And in the end it's not the years in your life that count.

It's the life in your years."

-Abraham Lincoln

To me this quote means that it is not about how long you have lived, but how you have lived it.

It does not matter if you have lived for 100 years or 50, as long as live your life to it's fullest.

If I were to rate the book Wonder on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 10 because, this book contained various messages to live by, like that beauty is within. This story also explained how your peers would feel, and react to being miss treated, and how hurtful it can be, and how you should "always be a little kinder than necessary."

I liked to see how August slowly progressed in how he reacted to how he looked into a positive way. Eventually he didn't care what others thought of him, and didn't let it put him down.
Another thing I liked about the character August is how he showed courage and bravery by going to school and standing up for himself whenever he was put down.

Overall I think Wonder is a fantastic story filled with meaning, and words to live by, and is a great example why every human should be treated the same, because it is about what's within you, not on the out.

My New Years resolution are to check over my work and to read the whole question so I don't forget a part by watching what I do, and to practice all my dances more so I have them perfected for competition by practicing on Wednesdays after school and when I can find time. I also will try and help out more around the house so my parents don't have to do as much.

Today is Christmas Eve! Not another day in the year have I ever wanted to go to bed ASAP! All day I've been waiting for tomorrow! It's almost like Christmas is someone  peaking around a shadowy corner waiting for just the right moment to start slowly creeping it's way into your soul over taking you with the holiday spirit. I can't wait for the morning to come since a buffet awaits my arrival in the evening of Christmas's joyful day. One of my favorite parts of this season is driving down the street when the sun as just vanished and turned the world into a festival of lights as the near by houses turn on their breath taking monuments they call home. I also love baking sugar cookies and decorating ginger bread houses that every knows that it's not worth trying to rescue because we all take part in it's total destruction. I always savor this time of year because it come and goes then before you know it it's December 26th and time to count down to a new year in January!

My favorite christmas memory was when I was still sharing a room with my little sister, and on Christmas eve we used a Santa tracker online because we all still believed in him. Every year we would jump into bed as soon as it said that he was in North America! At bedtime we were so excited that we just couldn’t get our eyes to droop. So we lay in our beds listening to the wind whistling through the tree’s. It was around 10:00pm when we heard rustling in the living room! Of course we thought it was Santa - not our parents putting presents under the tree. So we locked our eyes shut and pretended we were sound asleep. Eventually we got tired from extreme boredness, and we were taken over. On Christmas we woke at the crack of dawn and rushed to our brother‘s room. Once he was awake the three of us like little mice snuck into our parents room. We all got denied and were told to go back to bed, but like the night before we just couldn’t. So instead we secretly played a game of monopoly in my room to pass the time! As soon as we heard the slightest bit of movement we jumped to my parents room door and waited. We had a fantastic day and a delectable dinner! The same day at 7:30 we had all been overcome with yawns and tiredness, so we fell asleep on the couch because of the early morning. That’s my favorite Christmas memory!!

My connections to how August is being treated is when I was lunch monitoring one year a younger students came to me because one of the other students wasn't letting anyone but their friends play with the toys, this connects to the book because nobody would let August play with them or even touch the same ball as them, therefore the other younger student was August and the person who wouldn't let anyone play with them was the kids at August's school like Julian. In a way I felt like Summer because she always sticks up for the person

In school so far we have been experiencing different skills that we will need in the future! For example we learned divisiblility rules that will simplify and make it more easy for me to complete my math homework! We have also learned how to properly serve a volleyball! I think that everything we are learning is for a reason. Like in art we have to be creative, but we also are taught not to rush because when we did our hands we had to make sure we took our time or we would have to completely restart!

When August got home from his first day of school he didn't want to talk. He decided he wanted to cut off his braid so he did. I wonder if he cut it off because people asked him why he had it? Maybe he thought it would make him look more like them - none of the kids at the school had a braid. While his Mom was reading him a bedtime story that night, he started to burst out crying. He said he looked ugly to his Mom. I think he feels disappointed in how he looks, and  Hopeless because there isn't anything he can do. He probably feels like he would do almost anything to look normal. If I were August I would feel the same way. I would want to look normal to.
